Each kit is supplied with washers, sleeves and a gasket in a wide variety of materials including Phenolic, Minlon and Mylar. They are available for all flange sizes, types, pressure ratings.
Flange Insulation Kits feature precision located bolt holes, to automatically center the gasket and prevent foreign material from becoming lodged between the flange and "shorting out" the flange.
Flange Insulation is designed to combat the effects of corrosion often found in flanged pipe system. Galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metal flanges, flange insulation associated with cathodic protection of underground piping are other examples where Flange Insulation can be put to effective use.
