MOW1 Rubberised Cork

MOW1 Rubberised Cork gasket material.

MOW1 Rubberised Cork gasket material is produced from premium quality cork bonded with a blend of synthetic rubbers.  the combination creates a gasket material with the natural compressibility of cork and the resilience and mechanical strength of rubber. Industrial Gaskets MOW1 rubberised cork is a direct comparative to MR31 cork. MOW1 Rubberised cork sheet is suitable for Automotive applications and general gasket and sealing applications which require medium oil resistance. Plastic Shim

Plastic shim is commonly used to manufacture gasket sets to for bearing housing, to ensure that an even space is achieved between them. Plastic shim is available in a wide range of thicknesses (thicknesses are colour coded for easy identification).

Available in Thicknesses from 0.001 inch to 0.080 inch Shim Assortment Packs available they consist of 0.001 inch – 0.030 inch Plastic Shims have a much higher strength-to-weight ratio compared with metallic alternatives and prevent corrosion.  They are Tough with very high compression and dielectric strength. Plastic Shim has good resistance to most Chemicals and has good Ozone capabilities. Temperature Range is -70°C to +130°C  

Statite - Beige

AS80.090 Beige Statite is a product based on cellulose fibre bound with protein. Good adaptation properties.

Beige Statite is suited for applications at lower temperatures with Oil, Water and Fuel (eg gearboxes and pumps). Available in thicknesses from 0.15mm to 3.0mm  

TESNIT Micalit F

Mica is an Aluminosilicate material with very high thermal resistance, used for exhaust pipe manifolds, burner flanges, gas turbine housings and turbocharger flange gaskets.

It has excellent thermal and chemical resistance making it suited to the high temperature conditions of the automotive and steel industry, exhaust systems, burners and ovens. It has good electrical insulation and low thermal conductivity properties.   Composition   Mica flakes (phlogopite), silicon resin. Properties Material has excellent thermal and chemical resistance. Vulcanised Fibre Gasket Sheet

Industrial Gaskets Mechanical Grade Vulcanised Fibre is made using only cotton pulp.

Vulcanised Fibre - or vulcanite - is a plate material made of compressed cotton fibre paper. It is used as an insulation material and for the manufacture of various implements. Vulcanised Fibre has excellent mechanical and electrical properties and offers a high tear resistance and tensile strength. In the thinner sizes, it is flexible and can be bent. In the thicker sizes, it can be shaped with the aid of steam and pressure. The electrical properties are for example a high insulation value.   Standard Sheet Thickness:  0.4mm to 3.2mm thick Maximum Sheet Size:         1200mm x 2000mm
