Vulcanised Fibre has excellent mechanical and electrical properties and offers a high tear resistance and tensile strength. In the thinner sizes, it is flexible and can be bent. In the thicker sizes, it can be shaped with the aid of steam and pressure. The electrical properties are for example a high insulation value.
